行政院大陸委員會主任委員夏立言下午在金門與中國大陸國務院台灣事務辦公室主任張志軍舉行「夏張會」。陸委會晚間在昇恆昌金湖大飯店席開十桌，宴請與會人士。
張志軍致贈夏立言一個紫檀木雕，意喻代表感謝祝福之意。夏立言則回送張志軍一幅已裱框的排灣族琉璃珠編織的手工藝品，充滿濃濃的台灣原住民風味。
這場晚宴席開十桌，品嘗鮮筍、高粱土雞卷、芋香焗龍蝦、煨燉佛跳牆、鮮露深海鱈、北菇扣海參、海石蚵麵線等佳餚，佐以高梁酒和紅酒。
雙方相互逐桌敬酒，彼此酒興十足，一場晚宴下來，不少人帶著酒意與紅通通的臉頰走出現場。
陸委會表示，雙方席間不僅喝得盡興，氣氛非常融洽，相互交流之間，也針對許多議題，坦誠交換意見。
夏立言在夏張會中來不及提及的核廢料議題，在晚宴當中，雙方融洽交談之際，順帶提了這個議題，表達了政府想法。
